Pulmonology – Critical Care Physician Position Available In Lafayette, Louisiana

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced BE/BC fellowship trained PulmonaryCritical Care physician to join us. Candidate will join a group offor physicians in a practice which is currently experiencingsignificant growth and high patient demands.

Clinic Schedule:

Monday Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 36 patient contact hours with 4 hours administrative time

Schedule:

Hospital coverage one week followed by three weeks inclinic Clinic appointments 20 minutes for follow-up and 40 minutes fornew patient visits

Average Clinic Patients:

20-25 per day

Average Hospital Consults:

22-24 per day Designated MA and RN support for each physician, phone triagenurse and 2 nurses who round during day call

Call Expectations:

One week of day call per month, followingweek day clinic and night call, following two weeks day cliniconly Telehealth visits offered in both clinic and hospital withconsults to rural health centers Outreach to two locations 1-2 days per month, travel time Opportunity to educate and train students Support from respiratory and pathology Strong mentorship available from seasoned physicians inpracticeOur Physician Network employs more than 1000 physicians andadvanced practice providers at over 260 practice locations, caringfor more than four million patients annually.
