Heart Failure and Transplant Tulane University School of Medicine and LCMC Healthcare are searching for two dedicated and academically inclined advanced heart failure cardiologists (BC/BE) to become part of a team of three advanced heart failure cardiologists and two dedicated transplant/LVAD cardiothoracic surgeons in New Orleans. J1 waiver/green card opportunities exist. By joining Tulane University School of Medicine, you’ll collaborate with a renowned group of medical professionals including surgeons, non-invasive cardiologists, medical cardiologists, radiologists, vascular specialists, and more. Ranks Available:

Assistant Professor or Associate Professor

  • The Advanced Heart Failure Program provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient multidisciplinary care in New Orleans and the Gulf Coast.
  • Join a team composed of fellowship-trained cardiologists, surgeons, physical therapists, nutritionists, pharmacists, and nurse-coordinators.
  • In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will be actively involved in the teaching of medical students, internal medicine residents, and cardiology fellows. Compensation and Benefits

Qualifications:
Education:

Doctor of Medicine (MD or DO) Board-certified or board-eligible in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
