Medical DoctorsOnly Apply. St. Thomas Community Health Center, a premier FQHC located in New Orleans isseeking a family practice physician due to continued growth. They are proudto be recognized by the National Center for Quality Assurance (NCQA) as aPatient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) is the NCQA gold-standard for measuring qualitycare. A new primary care physician can be expected to build a practice quickly, a fullcaseload is typically 20+ patients daily and they are flexible regardinglocation and scheduling. Each physician has dedicated staff generally consistingof 2 medical assistants and shared support from an RN. Their physicians do not have hospital coverage responsibilities.– Theydo have evening phone coverage from clinic patients.– That coverage is rotated among the providers 10 physicians & 10 Nurse practitionersand is extremely limited. They are not responsible nor do they need to beavailable for hospital admits or hospital consults. The phone call coveragerotates both on weekends and weekdays between all providers.
