The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine is seeking applications for a position in surgical pathology . Candidates should have a medical degree (MD or MD/PhD), be board-certified/eligible in AP, or AP/CP with proper subspecialty fellowship training, such as in surgical pathology and/or GU, GI, Gyn//breast or head-and-neck pathology. The candidate should be eligible for a Louisiana Medical License. J-1 Visa holders are welcome to apply. Duties will include sign-out of general surgical pathology cases, and teaching for medical students, residents, and fellows. Research activities will include any scholastic activities that pertain to the applicant’s clinical and/or academic interests. Service responsibilities will include serving on Departmental and/or University committees when needed. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
