JOB SUMMARY :
Provide comprehensive and high-quality care to hospitalized patients with neurological disorders. The scope of services includes diagnosing, managing, and treating neurologic diseases in the inpatient setting only as a consultant with no primary patients or outpatient clinic responsibilities. 7 on 7 off block schedule with flexibility and dedicated hospitalists and nocturnists to cover nights.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Medical Degree from an ACGME accredited school Must be licensed by the Louisiana State board of Medical Examiners Board Certification or Eligible for Board Certification Epic experience a plus Practice-based learning and improvement Patient care and procedural skills Systems-based practice Appropriate medical knowledge Interpersonal and communication skills Professionalism
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 20 pounds is required. Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.
