QTC Medical Group of Alaska:

As a contractedOphthalmologist or Optometrist with Jamshid Tamiry, M.D., P.C.,doing business as QTC Medical Group of Alaska, an affiliate ofLeidos QTC Health Service, you will be responsible for performing arange of duties including: Performing examinations Interpreting clinical data Completing written reports and generating independent medicalopinions (IMO) The examinations must be conducted utilizing theKinetic Perimetry VFT Equipment Compatibility Chart.

PrimaryResponsibilities:

Conduct exams for a variety of customers to include federal,defense and others. Complete independent medical opinions regarding eyeconditions.

Perimetry requirements:

Results must chart 16 meridians, 22.5degrees apart for each eye and indicate the Goldman equivalentused. Diagnostic testing

Required Qualifications:
Education:

Ophthalmologist (M.D.) or Optometrist (O.D.) from an accrediteduniversity or college Completed Education and training in an US accredited college oruniversity

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of post-graduate experience as an

Ophthalmologist or Optometrist Certification:

Unrestricted State medical licensure withoutlimitations to perform full scope of authorized practice

Clearance:

Ability to pass a medical clearance Must be able to obtain and maintain government clearances(LARS, Public Trust, NACI, BGI, etc.) as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience conducting occupational/disability medicalexaminations

Work Schedule and Compensation:

Appointments are typically scheduledapproximately 5 to 7 days of notification. You set the pace andfrequency!

Augusta, GA.

Compensation:

Compensation will be provided for eachexamination, with payment determined based on the specificrequirements and type of examination performed.

AdditionalInformation:

Provider must complete required online training courses, up to9 courses at approx. 12.5 hours total. Leidos QTC Health Services will run a 7-year criminal historyand sex offender background check. Once the BGI and credentialing have been completed, theProvider will be required to obtain CPEP Certification (approx.17hours/depending on specialty) You will be given access to the Provider Liaison (PL)department; this department assists with any issues, questions, orneeds you may have while contracted with Leidos QTC HealthServices.
