Primary Care Physician opportunity- Leesville, LA Position Available In Vernon, Louisiana

The Alexandria VA Medical Center is seeking two full-time, BC/BE, Primary Care Physicians to serve as members of its Primary Care Team in Leesville, LA. Known as Louisiana’s Wild West, and for good reason – this is the land where the Coushatta and Atakapa Indians, outlaws and gun-slinging characters with colorful names like Leather Britches Smith called home. The nationally accredited Leesville Main Street is a historic relic where visitors can take their time walking among well-preserved buildings that date back decades. Highlights of this position include:

Competitive Starting Salary $240,000-$250,000

Work Schedule:

Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm This position is telehealth eligible (virtual visits- video, remote care by telephone) Provide care to approximately 12-20 outpatients daily in an outpatient setting Responsible for all facets of acute patient care Will assist in completing quality management reviews. Responsible for the successful achievement of applicable Performance Measure and Monitors his/her areas of responsibility. Candidate will take an active part in the peer review process and complete Physician’s reviews on time

Additional Requirements:

Board Certified/Board Eligible in IM Experience in Primary Care Must be a U.S. Citizen. Non-Citizen candidates will be considered if a U.S. Citizen is not found Full and unrestricted license from any U.S.

Compensation Information:
