For moreinformation, visit www.jobs.premisehealth.com. As a Full TimeOccupational Health Physician, you’ll provide care to clientemployees in our Health Center located in Andover, MA. Thescheduled hours are M-F, 8a-4:30p. Additional stipend for on call.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide occupational health services (i.e.,post-offer physicals, occupational surveillance exams, medicalmonitoring, return to work exams and Worker’s Compensation medicalguidance) to employees
- Provides episodic, preventive, and acutehealth care to patients
- Develops treatment plans and monitorprogress in collaboration with employees; educates and advises onmedical issues as needed
- Demonstrates clinical subject matterexpertise appropriate to the services rendered at the healthcenter.
- Provide case review regarding work determinations fordeploying personnel
- Oversees the site(s) clinical practices andprocedures, including CLIA waived lab and testing if applicable andRN Standing Orders
- Participates in periodic and ad hoc meetingswith the Premise Health and Client Corporation Leadership teams
- Participate in rotational after-hours telemedicine coverage amongstphysician team, supporting virtual injury hotline
- May berequested to teach/train medical team members and provide mentoringto advanced practitioners and nurses
- May serve as collaborativephysician for advanced practice providers.
- Identifies emergencysituations and provides care within legal scope of practice and asdefined by Premise Health privileging process
- Participates in thedevelopment of annual clinic goals and objectives
- May formulateand administer health programs as needed
- Other duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience with workplace health and safetyconcepts and OSHA regulations
- Graduate of an accredited medicalschool
- At least three years of post-residency clinical experience
- Must be Board Certified in Occupational Medicine, InternalMedicine, Family Practice, Primary Care or Emergency Medicine bythe AOA or ABMS
- Must have current state(s) and federal DEAcertification
- DOT Certification (NRCME) Required
- CAOHCProfessional Supervisor Certification Preferred
- CurrentCertification in AHA Basic Life Support for health care providersis required
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to collaborate withboth medical and non-medical staff (i.e. Safety Department, HR,Site Leaders)
- Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills,confident in all settings with individuals at all levels of theorganization, both internal and external Work-life balance is atthe foundation of how decisions are made and where Premise isheaded.

- $320,000 annually.
