Job Details Urgent Care Physician –

FamilyMedicine Trained Ideal Job Responsibilities:

Perform completephysical exams and assessments of patients including urgent andnon-urgent presentation. Select, order, perform and interprettests, analyses and diagnostic images to provide information onpatient condition and augment physical findings. Analyze reportsand findings of tests to diagnose patients. Prescribe or administertreatment, therapy, medication, vaccination and other specializedmedical care to treat or prevent illness and injury. Performprocedures including laceration repair, orthopedics and providereferrals to medical specialists. Explain procedures and discusstest results and prescribed treatments with patients. Notatefindings and treatment course in patient electronic chart includingfollow-up notes. Perform physicals—including sports, DOT, non-DOT,pre-employment and annuals. Evaluate patients for workers’compensation injuries, coordinating with employer/clients tobalance the needs of the patient and requirements of the employer.

Oversee mid-level providers working independently at clinics withinthe region, when necessary. Want learn more?
