We are currently hiring a Psychiatrist based in Worcester MA to provide psychiatric medication evaluation and management service, as well as, consultation to medical providers, mental/behavioral health clinicians, case managers, and other employees specified by assigned supervisor. The Psychiatrist is a member of the clinical practice team and works collaboratively with other team members. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide psychiatric medication evaluation and management for patients Provide onsite psychiatric consultation/back-up for the health center’s medical providers and nurses. Confer with Psychotherapists on an as needed basis, regarding mental/behavioral health issues of patients. Confer with other community providers on an as-needed basis. Participate in Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement Activities and other administrative projects as assigned by the VP of Behavioral Health Services and/or Medical Director. Provide clinical supervision to mid-level psychiatric provider(s) and psychiatric nurse(s) as assigned by supervisor. Maintain necessary paperwork to ensure that departmental information systems, audit, and billing requirements are keep current and up to date. Adhere to all department protocols regarding patient care. Perform other duties and as assigned by the supervisor including, but not limited to, the following: attendance at requested department, center, and outside meetings and/or trainings, administrative projects, multidisciplinary case reviews. Required Qualifications MA Board Certified in Psychiatry Active unrestricted license to practice medicine within the Commonwealth of MA. 3+ years of experience practicing Hybrid remote and in-person appointments The Health Center requires all employees to have the most recent COVID19 Booster and the yearly Flu Vaccine.
