Job Description
We are seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our team in Portland, ME. This opportunityoffers flexible schedules, care autonomy, and a supportive and friendlyenvironment. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team and engage inteam-based care, with 24/7 nurse triage support and a focus on value-based careprinciples. With a lower patient panel size and longer duration patient visits,you can deliver patient-centered care without the burden of extensiveadministrative tasks. The role also includes patient navigation, helping guidepatients through the complexities of their healthcare journey.
Start Date:
Between August and December Responsibilities includeprescribing appropriate dosages and instructing patients on their proper usage.
This involves understanding chemical interactions, danger signs, productiontechniques, and disposal methods.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine, currently licensed by the State Board of Medical Examiners. Board certified in a specialty field of medicine. Clinical experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or an ambulatory care setting is preferred. BLS certified. Must have and maintain a DEA license with no restrictions.
