Physician – General Surgery – Part Time at MaineHealth in Damariscotta, Maine, United States Job Description Description Lincoln Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital and proud member of MaineHealth, is seeking a part time general surgeon to join our experienced and collaborative team.
The successful candidate will join an established practice of 2 surgeons and 2 Advanced Practice Providers, located in beautiful Damariscotta, Maine. The general surgeons at Lincoln Hospital provide comprehensive surgical care including minimally invasive techniques such as laparoscopic and endoscopic procedures. Surgeons handle a wide range of cases annually, and candidates should be proficient in performing upper and lower GI endoscopy.
This position includes participation in a 1:3 call rotation. While currently part-time, there is potential for the role to expand into a full-time opportunity in the future.

Desired Qualifications & Experience Education/Training:

Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency or fellowship program in the relevant specialty, or equivalent.

Licenses/Certifications:

Eligible for licensure in the State of Maine.
Board-certified or board-eligible in General Surgery.
Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing and privileges at designated hospital locations. About Us
