Details:
- Work side by side with talented surgeons and team members on all cardiothoracic cases
- Complete inpatient rounding and consults
- Perform any minor procedures at bed side if needed with direction of a surgeon
- Review lab work and/or tests ordered during the day
- Review of pre-op patients and ensure all pre-op orders are processed
- _Beneficial but not required: ability to read radiological tests such as chest x-rays and CT scans, ability to perform chest tube insertion, central line and arterial line placement, experience with endovascular vein harvesting_
