Job Description

St. Joseph Healthcare, a member of Covenant Health, is seeking a (PART-TIME) BE/BC Emergency Medicine Physician to join our busy Emergency Department in Bangor, Maine. While attending Emergency Medicine experience is preferred, new residency graduates are encouraged to apply.

Opportunity Highlights:

+ Nonprofit hospital employed group, PSLF eligible position with $20,000 annual student loan forgiveness offered as needed. + Sign on bonus and relocation reimbursement available. + Variable staffing based on daily volumes, 51-56 hours of clinician coverage daily, with 3-4 clinicians working together during peak times. + Non-physician clinicians work collaboratively and sign their own charts. + Epic EMR with ample time during shifts to complete charting. Although rare, hours over shift are paid as worked. + Patient-centered model focused on providing quality time with patients and serving those most in need.
