Infectious Disease Physician at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine, United States Job Description Eastern Maine Medical Center d/b/a Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center has opening for Infectious Disease Physician in Bangor, ME. Conduct consultation, evaluation, treatment, diagnostic and prevention services for infectious diseases for adult patients. Offer consultative services for problems related to viral, bacterial, mycobacterial, fungal, and parasitic diseases. Provide diagnosis and treatment of bacterial infections, viral infections, parasitic infections, fungal infections, including HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, MRSA, osteomyelitis, endocarditis, infections in the immunocompromised, fever of unknown origin, tickborne diseases, and many other diagnoses. Must have MD, DO, or foreign degree equivalent; 36-month residency in internal medicine or related and 24-month fellowship in infectious disease or related; and Maine Medical License or eligible.
