waivers.
Several of our radiologists, and many colleagues in the area, are current or former J-1 waiver physicians.
We have successfully secured J-1 waivers for 6 radiologists in the last 5 years.
Bangor is an ideal location for a J-1 waiver practice site; designated as a Medically Underserved Area/Population (MUP), with amenities of a small city and a population of over 150,000.Maine has recently improved its
CONRAD-30
waiver process, making it more accessible for radiologists.
In addition to Maine’s flexible waiver process, J1 waiver applicants are also eligible for the NBRC (Northern Border Regional Commission) waiver, which has no fixed yearly quota.
These options make the J-1 waiver process easier for radiology applicants in Maine.
The Position Spectrum Healthcare Partners seeks a board-eligible/board-certified diagnostic radiologist with fellowship training to join our profitable, progressive radiology group.
The position focuses on general radiology, primarily aligned with your fellowship training.
You will join a team of 18 radiologists providing coverage at hospitals serving Eastern & Coastal Maine.
We plan to expand further in the coming year.
This full-time role offers a two-year partnership track, a generous compensation and benefits package, and reasonable call expectations.
No overnight reading is required, as overnight work is handled by our affiliated nighthawk service.
Our associates enjoy 10 weeks of vacation per year, increasing to 12 weeks for partners, with potential for up to 16 weeks or more.
