Job Description
Join the elite trauma team at a nationally recognized Level I Trauma Center . We’re seeking a locums orthopedic trauma surgeon to provide expert surgical care and on-call trauma support for a high-acuity, high-volume service.
Hospital Highlights:
Level I Adult Trauma Center serving Missouri and Illinois Daily trauma census of patients 2 3 dedicated orthopedic trauma ORs daily Strong support team including residents, NPs, and clinical trauma nurses Access to fellowship-trained orthopedic traumatologists
EMR:
Epic Clinical Scope Includes:
High-energy fractures, polytrauma, and periarticular injuries Ilizarov techniques, pelvic/acetabular reconstruction Advanced hindfoot, ankle, and limb deformity correction No elective clinic unless requested

24-hour call; frequency flexible
Support :
In-house backup from trauma fellows and residents
Credentialing :
