Position Information:
The Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System in Biloxi Mississippi is seeking a Board Certified (BC) / Board Eligible (BE) Diagnostic (General) Radiologist to join our Healthcare Team in providing the full scope and range of Radiology clinical practice, while also being responsible for developing strategic management plans for the Imaging Service, assigning tasks to staff, resolving conflicts that arise, developing changes in the plan and methodology, and interpreting policy, while collaborating and communication with interdisciplinary patient care team. Skills in interpreting X-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine, DEXA, PET, Cardiac Imaging a definite plus. GCVHCS is a tertiary care facility classified at Clinical Referral Level 1c, and teaching hospital, providing a full range of patient care services with state-of-the-art technology, education, and research. Comprehensive health care is provided through primary care, medicine, surgery, psychiatry, psychology, neurology, oncology, dentistry, geriatrics, extended care, and physical medicine and rehabilitation. Work Schedule is Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
U.S. Citizenship (Non-Citizens May Be Considered)
Current, active & unencumbered U.S. State Medical License
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Otolaryngology Physician Specialty
