CenterWell Senior Care Centers, a subsidiary of Humana Inc., isseeking a Family, Internal, or Geriatric Medicine Physician for ourclinics in the Jackson, MS area.

A day in the life ofa CenterWell physician Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; no weekends, and 8 paid holidaysoff Flexible schedule available, if needed Join an experienced team with two Advanced Practitioners and aCare Team See 10-14 patients per day. Opportunity to spend more time withpatients Longer authorized appointments (45 minutes) Acts as a lead and active participant and key source of medicalexpertise with the Care Team through daily huddles Spend 100% of your time clinically focused on direct patientcare, inclusive of patient facing time and general administrativetime (charting, meetings, etc.) as it relates to direct patientcareRequired Qualifications Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine Board certified or Board eligible in Geriatric Medicine, FamilyMedicine or Internal Medicine Valid, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment(or willing to obtain) Current, unrestricted DEA license

Preferred Qualifications:

Minimum of two to five years directly applicable experiencepreferred Experience managing Medicare Advantage panel of patients withunderstanding of Best Practice in coordinated care environment in avalue-based relationship environment. Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage. Knowledge of HEDIS quality indicators.
