Job Description
Atrium Health Musculoskeletal Institute Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Albemarle, NC, is seeking a BC/BE Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team. We are looking for a candidate that is quality driven and is ready to make a big impact on a small community. Our practice is a community-based hospital and a highly motivated partner within Atrium Health’s Musculoskeletal Institute (MSKI), of which is one of the largest Musculoskeletal programs in the country. We’re fortunate to retain our small community feel while also enjoying the proximity to the Charlotte metro region. Additionally, we have an extensive network of physicians within the institute including spine, ortho, primary care sports medicine, physical medicine and rehab.
Opportunity highlights:
Modern surgical suites featuring high-definition video and state-of-the-art equipment. Competitive compensation package with signing bonus and comprehensive benefits . Team of four physicians and two advanced practice providers . Weekday schedule (Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM) with dedicated clinic and OR time. Weekday call shared among providers; weekend call covered by Atrium’s weekender and locum team.
Our ideal candidate:
Board Certified/Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery. ACGME-accredited training program completion.
Experience in:
General orthopedic procedures. Joint procedures including total joint replacements, hip and knee surgery . Strong commitment to quality care and community engagement.
