Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Radiology Supervisor to join our team in Concord, NC. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the radiology department, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging services are delivered in a timely, safe, and patient-centered manner. The Radiology Supervisor plays a key role in managing staff, maintaining regulatory compliance, and fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes clinical excellence and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the daily workflow of radiologic technologists and imaging support staff. Ensure proper scheduling and coverage to meet patient care needs and optimize department efficiency. Monitor and maintain equipment functionality and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed. Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnostic outcomes. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as hospital and departmental policies (e.g., ACR, The Joint Commission). Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance evaluations for technologists and support staff. Assist with budgeting, supply ordering, and inventory control. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in implementing new procedures or protocols. Serve as a resource and point of contact for technical questions or problem resolution. Maintain accurate records and documentation, including radiation safety protocols and quality control logs.

Requirements:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field. ARRT (R) certification required. Current North Carolina Radiologic Technologist license (or eligibility). BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required. Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in diagnostic radiology. At least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
