The Duke Department of Anesthesiology is seeking a full-time anesthesiologist to work clinically at the Durham VA Health Care System but have a joint appointment with the VA and Duke University Medical Center
The Duke Department of Anesthesiology is seeking a full-time anesthesiologist to work clinically at the Durham VA Health Care System but have a joint appointment with the VA and Duke University Medical Center.
Ideal candidates will be BC/BE in Anesthesiology and have strong academic accomplishments (publications, research, or educational interests).
Leadership and administrative experience are highly desired.
Durham VAMC is located conveniently across the street from Duke University Medical Center
Clinical responsibilities will include
Clinical care in the non-cardiac operating room (OR – all specialties except pediatrics),
Non-OR anesthesia (GI endoscopy, radiology, etc), and main OR call.
