Provide direct inpatient care and manage complex medical cases Oversee patients throughout the continuum of care: pre-admission, inpatient, and post-op Collaborate with surgical, specialty, and nursing teams to ensure high-quality care Participate in patient safety and quality improvement initiatives Document and communicate effectively using the electronic medical record system

Requirements:

MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of North Carolina Valid BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Demonstrated experience in hospital medicine, including care coordination and acute case management Strong clinical judgment and ability to make timely, critical decisions Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities Proficiency in EMR systems and basic computer skills
