Full Job Description Job Summary:
Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a full-time Neuro-Ophthalmologist to join our collaborative academic team within the Departments of Ophthalmology and Neurology. This position provides the opportunity to practice at a nationally recognized academic medical center, with a diverse and complex patient population and a strong emphasis on teaching and research.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive care for patients with neuro-ophthalmic conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Collaborate closely with specialists in neurology, neurosurgery, radiology, and other disciplines. Participate in the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows. Engage in academic and clinical research, quality improvement, and scholarly activities. Contribute to the development of clinical programs and multidisciplinary care initiatives.
Qualifications:
MD or DO from an accredited institution. Board certification or eligibility in Ophthalmology or Neurology. Fellowship training in Neuro-Ophthalmology. North Carolina medical license or eligibility. Strong commitment to patient care, teaching, and academic excellence.
