Job Description
The Department of Pathology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine is seeking an academic surgical pathologist, at the Assistant/Associate Professor/Professor level, with expertise in Bone and Soft Tissue Pathology. The successful candidate will be involved in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows. Clinical responsibilities will include providing bone and soft tissue pathology services, other preferred subspecialty surgical pathology services, and frozen section services. This position also offers exciting opportunities for collaborative research with clinicians and basic science investigators. Candidates should have an MD or DO degree and be certified by the American Board of Pathology (ABP) in Anatomic Pathology (AP) or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP). Candidates must demonstrate scholarly achievements in teaching and have an established publication record. Preference will be given to those who have completed a bone and soft tissue pathology fellowship. Additionally, candidates must possess or be eligible to obtain a current North Carolina medical license.
