Position Summary:
The Section Head for Pediatric Nephrology holdsa pivotal role within the department, providing leadership andmanagement to ensure the effective operation and advancement of thesection. This position requires a combination of clinicalexpertise, administrative acumen, and a commitment to fostering anenvironment of excellence in clinical care, research, education,and community engagement. Responsibilities include enhancingsection productivity and revenue, managing complex clinicalservices, and fostering collaboration to ensure high-quality careand patient safety. The candidate will promote research, qualityimprovement, and educational alignment with best practices, whilestriving for regional or national recognition. Additionally, theywill build an inclusive environment, set clear performanceexpectations, support faculty development, and manage recruitmentand staffing for the section.
