Job Description Explore an opportunity with the Wake Forest Health Network Urgent Care – Clemmons practice ! We are seeking skilled physicians to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for a Primary Care physician who wants a comprehensive outpatient clinic including all ages treating minor burns or injuries, sprains and strains, coughs, colds and sore throats, allergic reactions (non-life threatening), rash or other skin irritations, broken bones and more. Must have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in Family Medicine or Urgent Care and experience treating pediatric patients. PRN position, 19 hours per week. What You’ll Do:
Physicians work to care for patients in a variety of ways, from treating chronic illnesses to advising about preventative healthcare. While physician specialties might vary, the commonality across specialties is that physicians primarily work to diagnose and treat injuries and illnesses. They often do this by performing physical exams, taking medical histories, performing and interpreting diagnostic tests, and recommending a plan of treatment.
Physician Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited medical school as a
M.D./D.O.
Successful completion of primary care residency at an accredited healthcare institution. Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License as a current
M.D./D.O.
Board certification in primary care or related field from said residency. Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) required Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) for prescription writing required
