Job Description
The Wake Forest Health Network Rheumatology – Westchester practice is seeking a skilled and compassionate Rheumatologist to join our community-based practice. This is an excellent opportunity to provide specialized care for patients with a variety of rheumatic diseases in a supportive, team-oriented environment. Our practice emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration, and continuity, ensuring the best outcomes for those dealing with chronic and complex conditions. With access to advanced diagnostic tools, infusion services, and a multidisciplinary team, this role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in the community.
Highlights:
This is a 100% outpatient care role, with full-time providers working 36 patient-facing hours and 4 administrative hours. You’ll have the advantage of strong and well-established community relationships and excellent administrative support.
Physician Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited medical school as an
M.D./D.O.
Successful completion of Internal Medicine residency at an accredited healthcare institution. Successful completion of Rheumatology fellowship at an accredited healthcare institution. Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License as a current
M.D./D.O.
Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology from said residency. Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing required.
