PA Cardiothoracic Surgery opportunity in Pinehurst, NC –
Location:
Pinehurst, NC; Fayetteville 40m
Opportunity Highlights:
Full-time; 36 or more hours per weekDay shift; 8am-5pmAdvanced cardiac program offers minimally invasive procedures, TAVR, CABG, robotic surgery, lung procedures and more.
Four PA team supports three talented surgeons.
Responsibilities include first assist, post-op care with ICU management, and clinic.
Monday Friday schedule with 1:4 call.

Requirements:
Must be a graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification.
Two years of CT surgery PA experience preferred.
Position-specific knowledge and skills required:
Proficient with saphenous vein harvest (open and endoscopic) and tube thoracostomyManagement of ventilators and critically ill patientsIn-depth knowledge of and experience in titrating inotropic and pressor medicationsEfficient with placement of central lines, arterial lines (femoral, radial), Swan-Ganz catheters, and chest tubesUnrestricted NC Physician Assistant license, NC DEA, and ACLS certification through AHA required.
