UNC Cancer Care at Nash is seeking aphysician to join a team of 2 physicians and 2 APP’s. The idealcandidate has completed a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology and isBC/BE in Internal Medicine and Hematology and Medical Oncology.
Thisprovider will see all tumor types but the team welcomes interest insub-types, including interest in Gastrointestinal or Genitourinaryconditions. Call will be 1:3 with very low volume, phone only.
TheDanny Talbott Cancer Center is a Comprehensive Community CancerProgram which offers cancer services under one roof, includinghem/onc, radiation oncology, infusion services, clinical research,and other support programs. The teams offer support from diagnosis,through treatment, to survivorship and comfort care. Patientsbenefit from the most innovative research and groundbreakingclinical trials of UNC’s academic medical center and coordinationof care between Nash oncologists and cancer specialists at UNC,without having to leave our community.
In addition to clinicalresponsibilities, the position will spend approximately 10% oftheir time in program development capacities, with special emphasison enhancing access to clinical trials in collaboration with theUNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center.
