Full Job Description Overview:

The Lead Interventional Radiology Specialist will provide leadership and is responsible for the effective ongoing quality, productivity, and efficiency of Interventional Radiology. The Lead Interventional Radiology Specialist will assist physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures. Qualifications:
Education:

High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, required. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program, required.

Experience:

Minimum of two years of experience in Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Catheterization Lab, required.

Licensure/certification/registration:

Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography, required. Certified and registered by ARRT in Cardiovascular Interventional or Vascular Interventional – RT(R)(CV) or RT(R)(VI) within 6 months of hire, required. IV Credentialed, required. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy

for life support training requirement, required. Applicable state license, required. Additional Skills/Requirements (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skill validation and competency testing.
