Job Description:
We are seekingdedicated, patient-focused physicians licensed in at least to joinour team. Whether your background is in primary care, internalmedicine, addiction medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care,this role provides an opportunity to practice modern, high-qualitymedicine without the constraints of a traditional practice setting.
While most of our services are fully virtual, in-person hybridopportunities may be available.
Responsibilities:
Provideexceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medicalhistory reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Delivercompassionate, patient-centered care, building therapeuticdoctor-patient relationships. Order and interpret lab tests asneeded to make informed, high-quality treatment decisions.
Prescribe medications and provide expert guidance on their properusage (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except forbuprenorphine for opioid addiction treatment). Collaborate withphysicians and nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and adedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain appropriate medical documentation to support continuity ofcare. Stay up to date with medical advancements, telehealthinnovation, and best practices.
Requirements:
Active medicallicense in at least three U.S. states, but preferably five, pluswillingness to obtain additional state licenses (assistanceprovided and costs covered). Helpful to be licensed in one of ourhigh demand states: AL, CA, IN, MS, NC, PA, SC and/or VA.Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-personsettings. Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hoursweekly (8AM-6PM locally), over four days each week, scheduling atleast one week in advance. Strong communication skills and acommitment to medical excellence. Comfort using telemedicineplatforms and EMRs (training provided). Passion for expandingaccess to care and making a meaningful impact. At least one DEAcertification and applicable CSL (if required).
