Full-Time Permanent Job Description:
We are in search of a professional, caring Psychiatrist to join our team. You will evaluate and treat a wide array of patients with psychiatric emergencies or routine conditions as it pertains to an individual case. You will diagnose and treat disorders in an outpatient setting, and/or by telehealth. Psychiatrists will treat patients as well as facilitate admitting patients to hospital, as needed. Our primary mission is providing exceptional behavioral health care to all people.
Responsibilities:
Assessing patients through interviews, observations, tests, and medical history. Accurately diagnose patients. Collaborate and work with other medical professionals and psychologists. Provide tests and interpret the results of studies. Prescribe medication and/or develop treatment plans, as well as conduct medication checks, and order tests. Educate and counsel patients and their families utilizing excellent communication skills. Monitor the side effects of treatment and medication. Provide follow-up care and work with other psychiatric specialists and participate in research, development, treatments, and medication.

Current licensed psychiatrist in state of practice, required. Board eligible or certified. A team leader that works with and leads others towards excellence in care. Knowledge of therapeutic interventions, including diagnostic assessment, medication evaluation & management, suicide risk assessments, crisis intervention and overall care and treatment of patients with psychiatric disorders. The ability to communicate information in layman terms and show compassion to patients and/or their families. Great organization skills, time management, decision making and research skills.
