Job Description:
Our stable private practice is seeking a bc/be pediatric anesthesiologist to provide both adult and pediatric anesthetics at ECU/Maynard’s Children’s Hospital in Greenville, NC. Our team is growing due to increasing pediatrics cases and subspecialty lines. We are offering a 3-year path to partnership for physicians interested in a stake in equity. Do not be afraid of private practice. We have autonomy over our practice, and we have the authority to make the changes we feel are necessary to our anesthesia team. An adjunct faculty role may be available through the Brody School of Medicine if academia is desirable. We will consider a resident heading into a pediatric fellowship and will cover the cost of the fellowship through a monthly stipend in addition to a signing bonus! Maynard’s Children’s Hospital has 200 beds/bassinets and has one of the largest NICUs in the state, categorized at a level 4, with 71 bassinets. In addition, we perform complex cases on par with isolated Children’s Hospitals. We treat the tiniest premature infants to high school children. Call is shared equally among the pediatric team. Pre and post-call day off, majority of call is pediatric back for emergent cases only.
