Premise Health is seeking a primary care physician for theiremployer based on site clinic located in Greenville, NC

  • Summary:
  • Provides direct medical care to client company employees Tuesdaysfrom 8:30A-5P.
Essential Functions:
  • -Provides episodic,preventive, and acute health care to patients.
  • May provideoccupational health services (i.e., post-offer physicals,occupational surveillance exams, medical monitoring, return to workexams and Worker’s Compensation medical guidance) in some healthcenters
  • Conducts histories and physical examinations andprescribes medications and/or medical treatments based on bestpractice standards
  • Develops treatment plans in collaboration withpatients; educates and advises on medical issues as needed-Provides referrals both internally and externally to appropriatemedical resource or specialty
  • Evaluates the effectiveness ofmedical care and monitors progress of patients
  • Participates in thedevelopment of annual health center goals and objectives
  • Maintainsmedical records using (In some health centers it may be usingElectronic Medical Record software)
  • May formulate and administerhealth programs as needed
  • Required Qualifications:
  • -Graduate ofan accredited medical school
  • At least three years ofpost-residency clinical experience
  • Experience in a primary care,urgent care or emergency room setting. (Occupational healthcareexperience may apply in some clinics).
  • Licensed to practicemedicine in the state within which the site is located
  • Must beBoard Certified in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, FamilyPractice, Primary Care or Emergency Medicine by the AOA or ABMS orBoard Eligible in
  • aforementioned practice
  • areas. If BoardEligible, must take certification exam with the AOA or ABMS withintwelve months of date of hire
  • Must have current state and federalDEA certification
  • Current Certification in AHA or ARC Basic LifeSupport for health care providers is required, Advanced CardiacLife Support may also be required based on contract scope ofservices
  • Medical Review Officer (MRO) Certification may berequired for some positions
  • Knowledge of Internet software,Spreadsheet and Word Processing
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • -Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHAregulations.
