Job Description

The Wake Forest Health Network OB/GYN – Asheboro practice is seeking a compassionate and skilled OB/GYN Physician to join our well-established practice in Asheboro, North Carolina. This is an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive women’s healthcare in a supportive, patient-centered environment. Our practice offers a full spectrum of obstetric and gynecologic services, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, minimally invasive surgery, and routine well-woman care. Highlights:

Only OBGYN practice in the county with 850+ deliveries per year. Enjoy Friday afternoon off! Practice hours are Monday-Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Call 1:6 shared amongst providers. The practice offers special surgical procedures such as: laparoscopic hysterectomy, endometrial ablation, slings, LEEP, and in office hysteroscopy and pelvic laparoscopy. Procedures are done in the office at Central Piedmont Surgery Center and Randolph Hospital. Asheboro located in the center of North Carolina offers: Places to hike, bike, boat, golf and many other family activities. Three major medical schools, Duke, UNC-Chapel Hill and Wake Forest, all within an hour. Home of the North Carolina Zoological Park.

Physician Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited medical school as an

M.D./D.O.

Successful completion of residency and at an accredited healthcare institution. Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License as a current

M.D./D.O.

Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology from said residency. Current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing required.
