Job DescriptionDescriptionUNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton,NC seeks board certified Family Medicine physician to serve asProgram Director to our 8-8-8 Family Medicine Residency Program, anACGME approved program, in partnership with Campbell UniversitySchool of Osteopathic Medicine. The Family Medicine Residency beganin July 2015.The program director has responsibility, authority,and accountability for: administration and operations; teaching andscholarly activity; resident recruitment and selection, evaluation,and promotion of residents, and disciplinary action; supervision ofresidents; and resident education in the context of patientcare.
SUMMARY REQUIREMENTS
- Licensed DO/MD in NC upon hire
- -Board Certified in Family Medicine by the American Board ofFamily Medicine or by the American Osteopathic Board of FamilyPhysicians
- Family Medicine expertise and at least three years ofdocumented educational and/or administrative experience, orqualifications acceptable to the Review Committee;
- Ongoingclinical activity
