Hospitalist Opportunities – Greensboro, North Carolina (The Triad!)

Hospital Profile:

Â¥ It is a 30-bed (LTACH) hospital specializing in the treatment of critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.Â¥ Located on the fifth floor of a 535-bed tertiary care facility, the hospital is dedicated to chronic acute care patients who generally stay beyond 25 days.Â¥ Managed as a separate entity, the facility has its own pharmacy, physical therapy, and registration process.

Hospitalist Team:

Â¥ The Hospitalist Team consists of two full-time physicians on site 8-12 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Each full-time hospitalist will provide 168 to 192 hours of clinical professional medical services per month, consisting of 12 and 8-hour shifts with rotating night call.Â¥ While on site, the hospitalist team responds to codes, consultations, inpatient episodic medical care, and procedures.
