Clinical Details:
Inpatient OBGYN call with 10 patients per shift 15-bed OB department
Admissions:
1 to 3 per day
EMR:
Paragon Support staff: 3 RNs and 2
APPs Requirements:
Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology Active NC license
ACLS BLS PALS
Clean history
Skills Needed:
Management of low and high-risk pregnancies Fetal heart rate interpretation and OB ultrasound (Level I and II) Amniocentesis Vaginal delivery and low forceps delivery Decision-making for C-sections and VBACs Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations Surgical gynecology (open, laparoscopic, and major operative procedures)
