General Surgery Physician in Goldsboro Join a w ell-established, UNC Surgical Specialists at Goldsboro UNC Physicians Network (UNCPN) in partnership with UNC Wayne is seeking a full time General Surgeon to join UNC Surgical Care at Goldsboro. UNC Surgical Care at Goldsboro provides comprehensive general surgery for adults of all ages. Our Physicians reflect the mission, vision, and values of the organization, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and other regulatory and accreditation standards.
Compensation:
Guaranteed base salary plus productivity incentives Additional incentives for Quality and Patient Satisfaction Relocation expense (if applicable) Rich benefits plan w/ generous PTO package, 403B employer-sponsored retirement plan Malpractice insurance including tail coverage Full time – 36 hours with 4 hours adm

Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited MD or DO school North Carolina licensed
BLS ACLS

Education Requirements:
• Active member of the Rex Hospital Medical Staff, including meeting the Board Certification requirements. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
• DEA;MD •
BLS Professional Experience Requirements:
• Prefer prior hospitalist experience.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

Language Skills:
Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.
REASONING ABILITY
High-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnosis medical and clinical issues presented by patients.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board certified in Internal Medicine.
