The pediatrician works in-house for rounding on newborns and inpatient peds patients, then on call out of house with a 30 min. response time.

Shift Responsibilities and Procedures:

The pediatrician works in house for rounding on newborns and inpatient peds patients, then on call out of house with a 30 min. response time. Provides C-section coverage to the OB dept. from 7 am-5 pm for elective procedures. 24-hour coverage for emergency C-sections. On-call responsibilities include admitting Emergency Dept. patients as needed.
