- -Possess and maintain current Advance CardiacLife Support (ACLS) certification, physicians not currentlycertified in ACLS, will still be eligible for consideration, butshall obtain certification within three (3) months of startdate
- Possess and maintain Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)certification, physicians not currently certified in NRP, willstill be eligible for consideration, but shall obtain certificationwithin three (3) months of start date
- Possess and maintain Advance Life Support Obstetrics (ALSO)certification, physicians not currently certified in ALSO, willstill be eligible for consideration, but shall obtain certificationwithin three (3) months of start date
- Board Certification
- -Possess board certification inObstetrics and Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics andGynecology or American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics andGynecology

Internship/Residency:
Successful completion of an internshipand residency program (corresponding to the specialty required)which has been approved by the Accreditation Council for GraduateMedical Education or the Committee on Postdoctoral Training of theAmerican Osteopathic Association, subsequent to obtaining a Doctorof Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree, a candidate must havehad at least 1 year of supervised experience providing directservice in a clinical setting (i.e., a 1-year internship or thefirst year of a residency program in a hospital or an institutionaccredited for such training). For purposes of this requirement,graduate training programs include only those internship,residency, and fellowship programs that are approved by accreditingbodies recognized within the United States or Canada, descriptionsof such programs are described below:
- An internship program involves broadly based clinical practicein which physicians acquire experience in treating a variety ofmedical problems under supervision (e.g., internal medicine,surgery, general practice, obstetrics
- gynecology, and pediatrics),such programs are in hospitals or other institutions accredited forinternship training an appropriate accrediting body
- A residency program involves training in a specialized field ofmedicine in a hospital or an institution accredited for training inthe specialty by an appropriate accrediting body
- A fellowship program involves advanced training (beyondresidency training) in a given medical specialty in either aclinical or research setting in a hospital or an institutionaccredited in the United States for such training

Licensure:
Current, full, active, and unrestricted license topractice medicine as required
- Experience
- -Possess not less than two (2) years ofexperience within the last three (3) years as a full-timeObstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician
- Provide two letters of recommendation written within the lasttwo years attesting to clinical skills
- A minimum of one of theletters must be from a supervisor
- The other letter must be fromeither a clinic or hospital administrator, or a practicingphysician
- Reference letters shall attest to the quality andquantity of experience
- The letters should also address patientrapport and the communication skills between practitioner andpatient and among peers
- Recommendation letters must includename, title, phone number, date of reference, address and signatureof the individual providing reference
