Role:
As anAnesthesiologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring thesafety and comfort of patients undergoing surgical procedures. Yourprimary responsibility will be to administer anesthesia and monitorpatients’ vital signs throughout the surgical process. You willcollaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other medicalprofessionals to develop and implement individualized anesthesiacare plans. Additionally, you will be responsible for assessingpatients pre-operatively to determine the appropriate anesthesiaapproach based on their medical history and current health status.
Ultimately, your expertise will contribute to positive surgicaloutcomes and enhance the overall patient experience in thehealthcare setting.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine(MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from anaccredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited residencyprogram in anesthesiology.
- Board certification or eligibility inanesthesiology.
- Valid medical license to practice in the state ofemployment.
- NJ Medical License in good standing,
DEA and CDSPreferred Qualifications:
- Fellowship training in a subspecialtyof anesthesiology, such as pain management or pediatricanesthesiology.
- Experience in a variety of surgical settings,including outpatient and inpatient procedures.
- Proficiency inadvanced anesthesia techniques and technology.
Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia to patients before, during, and aftersurgical procedures.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and adjustanesthesia levels as necessary throughout the surgery.
- Conductpre-operative assessments to evaluate patients’ medical historiesand determine appropriate anesthesia plans.
- Collaborate withsurgical teams to ensure a seamless and safe surgical experience.
- Provide post-operative care and pain management solutions topatients.
