Physiatrist / Physical Medicine & Rehab Physician HackettstownNJ FT or PT Urgently Hiring We are looking for a BC/BEPhysiatrist/PM&R Physician to join our Physiatry run team inNorthern NJ . Our physicians work in SNF settings providingconsultation and follow-up care. We collaborate closely with ourpatients, their families, rehab staff, physicians, and hospitalsystem pop-health teams. The incomingPhysiatrist will be covering a SNF in Western Morris County (nearHackettstown, NJ). We are flexible in our need and can accommodatea Physiatrist seeking either part time or full-time work.

Job Responsibilities:

New consultation requests. Performappropriate physiatric consultations and follow-up care throughoutthe rehabilitation stay. Round on post-acute care patients twice aweek or more when medically necessary, track patient progress,remove obstacles to functional progress, and improve quality oflife. Attend to caseload by having acute awareness of all referralsources and potential referral sources. Maintain an active patientlist and diligently capture all referrals. Engage with clinicalstaff on a regular basis and maintain a professional, collegialrelationship with other facility physicians, caregivers,administrators, and directors. Engage with patients and familiesduring care and communicate clearly to promote understanding oftreatment options and procedures. Set expectations with facility,patients, and families. Attend facility rehab team meetings.

Documentation:

Follows protocol and guidelines for documentation,billing, and coding. Regularly meet with facility leadership tounderstand their needs and build relationships. Report back toDirector facility happenings and updates Actively collaborates withother treating physicians and Physician Assistants (PCPs,Orthopedists, etc.)

Requirements:

Unrestricted NJ Medical License,CDS, DEA Board Certified or Board Eligible in PM&R Stay CurrentAnnually with

ABPMR and NJBME Licensing & CertificationRequirements Schedule:

Full time or part time Compensation (range):$250k-$300k, depending on caseload desired (Full time with Bonuspotential)
