00 annually/n /n The Department of Family & Community Medicine at AlbanyMedical College is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine Physician tojoin its faculty in an academic primary care practice, with a focuson resident and medical student education. The successful candidatewill become part of an established community practice in beautifulupstate New York, based at Albany Family Medicine (Community CarePhysicians). This position offers a wide range of clinicalopportunities with privileges at both academic and communityteaching hospitals. /n /n Clinical and Educational Expertise. Ourcurrent faculty’s clinical expertise includes areas such asambulatory primary care, geriatrics, sports medicine, outpatientprocedures, inpatient medicine, osteopathic manipulative medicine,newborn care, gender-affirming care, opioid use disorder treatment,women’s health (with or without obstetrics), abortion care, andpoint-of-care ultrasound. As part of our interdisciplinary team,you will work alongside residents, pharmacists, and integratedbehavioral health professionals. /n /n Education is a cornerstoneof our department’s mission, with faculty roles spanning bothundergraduate and graduate medical education. Our 6-6-6 residencyprogram holds ACGME accreditation with osteopathic recognition, andwe are offering exciting opportunities in medical education. Wespecifically have roles in the Core Faculty with medical educationresponsibilities at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher (rankcommensurate with experience) at Albany Medical College. /n /n Inthis position, you will mentor and teach across the spectrum oflearners, from medical students to residents and fellows.
