The Stratton VA Medical Center in Albany, New York, is seeking a dedicated Retina Specialist to join our Ophthalmology Section of the Surgery Service. As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive support to our eye clinic, inpatient services, operating room, and Emergency Department. Your role will adhere to the highest standards of care in accordance with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Stratton VAMC policies, guidelines, and professional ethics.

Core Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive clinical and surgical ophthalmological care to our Veteran patients. Offer diagnostic and therapeutic services in inpatient and outpatient settings. Perform surgical and non-surgical general ophthalmology procedures. Supervise ophthalmology residents in various clinical and surgical settings. Initiate and implement changes in care delivery based on evidence-based research. Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate educational programs. Teach and guide others creatively and effectively within the educational framework.
