Monday
- Friday, 8 am
- 4 pm schedule — no call, no weekends 11
- 13 patients per day with 3
- 6 daily admissions/discharges Adult inpatient psychiatric unit with consult service responsibilities Full-time internist manages all medical care for psychiatric patients Works alongside 3 other attending physicians Strong emphasis on team collaboration with nursing and social work staff Coverage needed due to staffing transitions Comfortable managing acutely ill patients and severe mental illness required
