MD (Medical Doctor);DO (Osteopathic Doctor) Ob/Gyn KbRani Brooklyn, NY 11219 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing comprehensive care to women throughout their reproductive health journey, including pregnancy, childbirth, and gynecological health. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to patient care and possess the necessary skills to manage a variety of medical conditions related to women’s health. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations. Provide prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal care for expectant mothers. Perform gynecological examinations and screenings for various conditions. Develop treatment plans based on patient assessments and medical standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients on health coaching, wellness strategies, and preventive care. Manage complications during pregnancy and childbirth, utilizing skills in neonatal ventilator support when necessary. Stay updated with advancements in obstetrics and gynecology practices, including radiation therapy techniques as applicable. Participate in hospice care discussions when necessary for end-of-life planning. Skills Proficient in patient assessment techniques and standards of care for obstetrics and gynecology. Knowledgeable in gastroenterology principles as they relate to women’s health issues. Experience with pediatric neuropsychology is a plus for managing adolescent patients. Familiarity with radiography practices relevant to obstetric imaging. Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients about their health options. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes. Compassionate approach towards patient care, ensuring comfort and support throughout treatment processes.

Schedule:

8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday Shared call, 1:11

Patient Census:

15-20 Will oversee 9 community OB/GYN practices

EMR:

Epic Must have prior director experience Board certification required
