Albany, NY Compensation:

$220,000.00 – $240,000.00 annually The Department of Family &Community Medicine at Albany Medical College is seeking a BC/BEFamily Medicine Physician to join its faculty in an academicprimary care practice, with a focus on resident and medical studenteducation. The successful candidate will become part of anestablished community practice in beautiful upstate New York, basedat Albany Family Medicine (Community Care Physicians). Thisposition offers a wide range of clinical opportunities withprivileges at both academic and community teaching hospitals.

Clinical and Educational Expertise. Our current faculty’s clinicalexpertise includes areas such as ambulatory primary care,geriatrics, sports medicine, outpatient procedures, inpatientmedicine, osteopathic manipulative medicine, newborn care,gender-affirming care, opioid use disorder treatment, women’shealth (with or without obstetrics), abortion care, andpoint-of-care ultrasound. As part of our interdisciplinary team,you will work alongside residents, pharmacists, and integratedbehavioral health professionals. Education is a cornerstone of ourdepartment’s mission, with faculty roles spanning bothundergraduate and graduate medical education. Our 6-6-6 residencyprogram holds ACGME accreditation with osteopathic recognition, andwe are offering exciting opportunities in medical education. Wespecifically have roles in the Core Faculty with medical educationresponsibilities at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher (rankcommensurate with experience) at Albany Medical College. In thisposition, you will mentor and teach across the spectrum oflearners, from medical students to residents and fellows.
