Salary Range:
$65,000- $400,000 The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary The Department of Ophthalmology at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons seeks a part-time mid-career physician as Assistant Clinical Neuro-Ophthalmologist, or a part-time experienced physician (5 or more years post-fellowship) as Associate Clinical Neuro-Ophthalmologist. The individual will join a new, large multi-specialty medical practice in Westchester White Plains, adjacent to New York City. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues in Ophthalmology and other specialties to provide high-quality neuro-ophthalmology care to patients in this integrated clinical setting. Responsibilities Deliver exceptional, specialized patient care with consistently excellent outcomes. Collaborate across departments to ensure integrated, multidisciplinary care. Mentor junior colleagues, supporting their professional development and growth. Participate in departmental quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. Engage in continuing medical education (CME) and maintain relevant advanced certifications. Serve as a trusted resource for complex cases and high-acuity patients. Achieve and maintain high patient satisfaction scores. Meet or exceed productivity targets. Minimum Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree Board certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology Fellowship training in subspecialty License (or eligibility) to practice medicine in New York Other Requirements Please submit a CV, cover letter and references with your application.
